Mary Ellen Duffy is a partner at the law firm of Duffy & Duffy. With a law degree from Fordham Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from New York University, Ms. Duffy focuses on medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Voted a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2011, Ms. Duffy is passionate about advocating for her client’s rights ensuring her focus from from initial evaluation through trial.
Ms. Duffy is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar, the Nassau County Bar Association, the Women in the Courts Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, the Medical Malpractice Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, the American Association of Justice (fka American Trial Lawyers Association), the Queens County Women’s Bar Association and was the former Executive at Large on the Board of Directors of Life’s WORC, an organization helping those with developmental disabilities and autism.
Mary Ellen is a devoted volunteer to charitable causes and a philanthropic contributor as well as a lover of the arts.
