Rhonda L. Meyer has 28 years of experience representing plaintiffs. Ms. Meyer has prepared several cases resulting in some of the highest verdicts and settlements in New York State history. Ms. Meyer’s extensive medical experience includes cases involving radiation oncology, obstetrics, birth trauma, perinatal and neonatal medicine, pediatrics, pulmonary medicine, vascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, orthopedic surgery, infectious disease, nephrology, neurosurgery, and cancer-related medicine. Along with medical cases she also has experience with cases of wrongful death, emotional distress claims resulting from fetal demise, maternal deaths, and birth trauma. In addition, Ms. Meyer has successful appellate practice experience.
In 2015, Long Island named Ms. Meyers as a Top 50 Most Influential Woman in Business by the Long Island Business News, in recognition of her significant contributions to the region. In 2016, she was named an Outstanding Woman in Law by Hofstra University School of Law’s Center for Children, Families and the Law. Ms. Meyer has been named to the 2017 list of New York’s Best Lawyers®, and from 2014 through 2017, she was named to the New York Metro Super Lawyers© List. In 2013, she was named “Who’s Who in Women in Professional Services” by the Long Island Business News.
Rhonda Meyer is admitted to practice in New York and United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She is a member of New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Nassau County Bar Association, Nassau County Women’s Bar Association, Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association, and the Huntington Lawyers Club. Ms. Meyer obtained her undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook and received her law degree from Hofstra University School of Law. Ms. Meyer is an avid soccer player, and for the past 30 years has played with the Long Island Ladies’ Soccer League.
